The Level 2 Certificate in Sports First Aid is designed for all levels of sport and recreational activities and can be used to train individuals that require basic first aid skills and training in the management of sports specific illnesses and injuries. This course will provide first aid skills necessary to manage a patient that is not breathing normally, is unconscious or bleeding prior to the arrival of the emergency services.
This qualification will also provide participants with the opportunity to gain fundamental knowledge and skills in order to recognise and manage common injuries sustained in sports and provide immediate "Non-Emergency" first aid care.
The Sports First Aid course also meets the recommendations of the HSE Health and Safety First Aid at Work (1981) Regulations for Appointed Persons in the Workplace.
