The Sports First Aid course is designed for all levels of sport and recreational activities and can be used to train individuals that require basic first aid skills and training in the management of sports specific illnesses and injuries.
This course will provide first aid skills necessary to manage a patient that is not breathing normally, is unconscious or bleeding prior to the arrival of the emergency services.
This course will also provide participants with the opportunity to gain fundamental knowledge and skills
in order to recognise and manage common injuries sustained in sports and provide immediate "Non-Emergency" first aid care.
The Sports First Aid course also meets the recommendations of the HSE Health and Safety at Work (1981) Regulations for Appointed Persons in the Workplace.
This course also meets the first aid requirements of the Department for Children, Schools and Families for First Aid in Schools
